A silent nocturnal predator, Bed bugs are small insects that bite and feed on the blood of humans and animals, usually at night while they are sleeping. Bed bugs are often found infesting in homes, hotels, dorm rooms, or other places where people live, stay, or visit. while the adults are 3/8th’s of an inch while the babies are small, roughly a 1/16th of an inch.

Bedbugs, hence the name, are primarily found in our areas of rest, beds, they will infest in the folds of mattresses, box springs, frames, and headboards. In cases of heavy infestations bed bugs will nest in the corners of rooms, behind trim, and outlet covers, anywhere they can hide and be left undisturbed,

A single bedbug can live up to a year, producing 1-7 eggs every day following one blood meal. This blood meal last roughly 10 days before needing another feeding to produce more offspring.

Throughout a lifetime a female bedbug can produce well over 100 offspring. Bedbug nymphs will hatch within 9 days of production, this means the bedbug population will quickly double and get out of hand.
